If you are not happy with your purchase here is how we can help. We want you to be happy with the item/s that you purchased.

Refund

A refund can only be requested within the first 7 days of invoicing the item. Once we receive the item, we will inspect it and notify you of the progress.

Items received for refund must be in original packaging and unopened. Any items sent for refund after the 7 day period or which have been opened will not be refunded. All software packages are unfortunately not refundable.

If an item is approved for a refund the funds will be refunded to your original payment method. This can take up to 5 days.

If any item was delivered incorrectly or defective. Five-O Technologies should be informed within 48 hours to apply for a refund or replacement.

Any order can be cancelled when order was placed, unless it has been shipped – then normal return policy would apply.

Return and Warranty

A return can be booked under user panel or by sending an email to info@5o-tech.co.za, the email must include copy of invoice of purchase and reason for the return.

All returns will be evaluated either by Five-O Technologies or a third party if needed. If a third party is used this process can take up to 15 days.

The warranty covers the unit as a whole as well as individual components. The warranty covers labour and parts required to repair or replace any faulty units. The warranty claim will be analysed and replaced/repaired to a fully working condition. If it is not possible to replace/repair a refund of the original purchase price will be done. Charges will apply to computers or laptops sold without an operating system if we need to transfer data or reload operating system.

Not Covered by the warranty

  • Any accident, misuse, liquid spills, abuse, improper or inadequate maintenance.
  • Any software, hardware adjustments, interfacing or parts fitted afterwards.
  • Any malicious code.
  • Any power surges, brown outs or lightning strikes.
  • Loss or damage during transit.
  • Warranty void if there is any signs of tampering with it. Including damage to warranty sticker

Extended warranty are offered by some manufacturers and are sold separate. Other than that no extended warranties will be offered.

Shipping/delivery

We charge R140 courier fee. The customer will be responsible for the courier fees. All return courier fees are the customers responsibility.  All courier fees are non refundable unless stated below.

Courier fees back to the customer will be covered by Five-O Technologies in event of warranty unless it is found not to be a warranty claim as stated under not covered or the item is found to be working fully.

In event of incorrectly supplied courier fees back to the customer will be covered and replaced with correct unit from Five-O Technologies.

We are an online store only and don’t have a physical shop.

Payment

We use a payment gateway for all credit/debit card and instant EFT payments.  We also offer direct EFT into our bank accounts.

Payments made through the payment gateway reflects immediately and will be processed accordingly.  EFT payments will only be processed once the funds reflect in our bank account.

Privacy

All of our customers privacy is very important to us.  We only collect the necessary details to complete your order and provide you with relevant products. 

This information will only be shared with the companies as selected to complete the order like the courier company and payment gateway.  We only deal with companies that adhere to our privacy policies or has a better standard. We do not share these details with any other companies or private individuals unless it is required by law accompanied with relevant legal documents.

When you use our site you automatically agree to our privacy agreement.
